If I remember my geometry I think it is a dodecahedron. It almost looks like something from Dr WHO or Harry Potter. I know there are many modern reproductions around but the precise lines and detailed casting make me convinced that this I a vintage item. I cannot find another like it anywhere ion the internet. Cast in two pieces and the pieces fit together cleanly and precisely. About the size of an orange. A nice detailed addition to any collection. Not cheap but I paid a bit for it.
