C 1894 Black Americana”Give Me A Penny” Cast Iron Turn Pin Still Bank Wing MFG. He stands 5 5/8″ tall and 1 5/8″ across his feet. This is a very early bank with it’s pin turn closure, instead of a screw and the whites of his eyes are painted in a oval with a black center. I believe this is the original Wing design #M-167. The bank has good original red and black paint and there are some gold paint traces on the letters. There is a hole in the back of his hat and the turn pin and coin slot is on the back side. Picture #7 shows the front of his boots and it looks like his toes are showing on the left foot. In picture #11 shows the back of his boots and it look like they don’t match. The side seams are very very tight and I do not believe this bank was ever opened. From my research, there is probably a number stamped on the inside on the bank, but I will not open it so please do not ask me to. He is in very good original condition with minor paint chips and paint lost, guaranteed to be original. Pictures are part of the description. DO NOT DUPLICATE OR COPY!
