This bank is guaranteed to be an original antique bank as described. There are no problems such as cracks, chips, replacement parts, repaints, etc. The shovel is original and moves as it should. I suppose this would be considered a semi mechanical bank. The bank has very little paint wear as seen in the pictures and retains most of the original finish.
