Bank works by placing a coin in the hod (tool held by the worker) which gets deposited into the brick wall when the lever is pushed. Bank includes original key to recoup the coins, attached to the bricklayer’s neck. Bank is also notable for the depiction of the late 19th century laborers of Italian and Irish descent. Measures 7.5” long, 7” tall and 4” wide. Minor paint loss, overall in very very good, working condition with still vibrant colors. With a 1903 Indian Head penny.
