Cromwell, Connecticut, “Pat Jan23 1883, ” by placing a coin in the eagle’s beak and depressing the snake-form lever, it activates the eagle to lean forward to feed her eaglets depositing the coin from her beak into the nest with coin receptacle below, (Original plug on base). Base length 611/16, Width 4″, Height to top of eagle 6″. From a former member of the Mechanical Bank Collectors of America. This bank was personally examined by Bill Norman, author of THE BANKBOOK.
