This VERY RARE, WORKING, antique vintage cast iron still penny bank is in the shape of a counting house, known as “Fidelity Trust Vault” with Lord Fauntleroy. On three sides there are bankers windows. On one side at the top it says COUNTING HOUSE and there is a what is thought to be Little Lord Fantleroy in the window above the coin slot and below it says CASHIER. On the other two sides, there are dogs in the windows and below them it says PAYING TELLER and on the fourth side is a clock-face and the header at the top is broken off. The original paper clock face is long gone. To unlock the vault doors, you need to set the clock to a specific time. For this bank, the door stays locked until set to 10:30 when it will unlock. The locking clock mechanism inside the bank is still in good working condition. Inside the safe are two shelves. The bottom shelf holds the coins dropped in from the coin slot at the rear. Bank seems in excellent condition other than that missing top above the clock, no rust, cracks, breaks or repairs. Measures approximately 5-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ x 4-1/2 tall. Made in the U.
