A true rarity for the’Still’ Bank collector – Direct from an old Pocono Mountain, Pa. Estate where it was stored in an attic for decades. In the Moore reference guide,’The Penny Bank Book’ revised edition of 2000, page 121, the bank is listed at 1200.00 (19 years ago). According to all sources, this bank has never been reproduced and it carries an assigned rarity value of’F’ which means it’s nearly extinct and ultra scarce to acquire. Easures 6″ x 4″ x 1/2. Most all the original finish is gone; looks like it might have been goldish/Copper at one time. Otherwise, the bank is sound and solid overall. The word Bank’ is on the front and the words’Patent Pending’ are on the reverse. The etched Glass (which is rare to find intact) is indeed intact and all etching is clear and readable.
