This Cast Iron Rabbit Bank is of High Quality and is in Excellent Condition with Most of the Original Paint and Mild Corrosion with a Delightful Patina as seen in photos. #570 on Page 89 in the Moore’s Penny Bank Book.. Produced from 1906 to 1920. Peter Gerhardt Wing of Chicago opened the doors of the Wing Manufacturing and Plating Co. Wing was moved to Kenton OH. Where it became part of the Kenton Hardware Manufacturing. Later that year Peter Wing moved back to Chicago. By 1906 Wing’s creations, Grandpa, Darkey, Billy Bounce, Santa Claus, Elephant, Rabbit and Statue of Liberty, were being made under the Kenton and Hubley names. Wing founded another Chicago-based company in 1907 and patented and produced at least one still bank, a toy safe. Please inspect the pictures to make your own Determination on Condition.
