Here is an antique CAST IRON STILL SAFE BANK. It is marked JAPANESE SAFE and PAT. I believe last digit is either a 2 or 9. So, 1882 or 1889. It is made by KYSER & REX. It is in good condition but there is some wear to the finish. There are 5 different Japanese scenes. The front shows a DRAGON and the top is BIRDS. I have an antique key that fits loosely in the lock but when simply inserted (altho loose) and turned the door unlocks. The bank measures approx. 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2.
