Original Small Cast Iron 3 In 1 Independence Hall Building Bank Cira 1876
This original bank was most likely made by IVES or SMITH & EGGE and dates to the 1876 CENTENNIAL. This bank is actually three banks in one, with a separate chamber for coins on each end in addition to the center section. The underside of the base reads “PAT OCT 19 1875″. It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with no cracks, breaks, repairs, repaint or touch-up. It is listed as #1211 in the PENNY BANK BOOK by MOORE with a RARITY of D. It is approximately 6-3/8″ tall and 11″ wide. This desirable bank does not come up that often, and rarely in this condition. Don’t let this one get away!
