1923 Arcade Freeport cast iron hall clock still bank with swinging pendulum
This is a genuine original cast iron still bank in the form of a grandfather clock. It was made by Arcade Toys, and appears in the 1923 catalog. It has a swinging pendulum, which means it is one of the relatively few still banks that features any movement. It is about 5. High and is painted black with great-looking gold highlights. It is in remarkable original condition, with only very slight wear to the clock face or the frame of the bank. The only noticeable wear is on the inside at the back, where the pendulum has rubbed against the inside wall, leaving a trail of chipped paint. The coin slot is in the rear, with the coins dropping into the caged area below. The original rivets are intact, and have never been removed or messed with. Guaranteed all original, no touchups, no repairs, no damage, in condition about as good as it gets.
