You are looking at a Vintage Cast Iron Mechanical Bank from the late 19th to early 20th Century. This bank is called “Bear Hunt” and depicts an Indian shooting a bear. This shows no signs of any restoration. All the feathers on the Indian are still intact. This had been kept on a mantle in a house for many years and the soot from the fireplace has covered up most of the paint, but some is still visible. The patent date on the coin removal tab is 1875.
