Wonderful 19thC Eagle & Eaglets Cast Iron Mechanical Bank. This cast iron mechanical bank is in the form of an eagle with two eaglets in a nest. When you put a coin in the eagles beak and press the lever, she leans over and drops the coin in the slot as the eaglets lift up and open their mouths. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 5 + ¾ inches at its highest point, 6 + ¾ long (down the base) and 4 inches wide across the base. It is in excellent working condition with the exception of one eaglets beak does not fully close on its own. Paint is at approximately 80%. It is missing the coin hole cover, as can be seen in the photos. Important Notice for International Customers.
