Fabulous rare antique cast iron bank of Stork Holding Baby over Safe. We have never tried to take this apart. We say it is in good to very good condition. Since we bought it many years ago in an antique shop, we have not changed it or touched it up in any way. Below the stork are the letters spelling “Copyrighted” stamped into the iron. Other letters words etc. Are “CHCO HDW FDY CO” above the safe door. Below the safe door are the letters NO CHICAGO. Moore lists their example of this wonderful bank as #651 Year 1907 and as a Harper bank. I cannot tell from their year 2000 book whether theirs has all the markings that mine has. If more information becomes available, we can add it to this listing. We have great Majolica art pottery, too!
