Description : An early Figural Cast Iron Still Bank in the form of a House Bank Building, A. Williams Company, Ravenna, OH, ca. This attractive Penny Bank has been identified as “Double Door” (Moore #1125); Retains original Silver and Gold painted surface; chimney is painted Bronze. A very ornate and casting with wonderful architectural details throughout, including a large Palladian window and central chimney. Large horizontal coin slot located just above the eave line on reverse. A two-piece casting with tight seams; held together with original retaining/turn pin. Minor soiling noted for descriptive accuracy. Displays brilliantly as-is; a light cleaning would greatly enhance the painted finish, if desired. See photos for complete details and close-ups.
