(2) Antique Cast Iron Elephant with Howdah Still Penny Banks, AC Williams, ca. 1925
Description : A pair of figural cast iron Still Banks in the form of standing Elephants, A. These are the medium Elephant with Howdah (Moore #459). Both are 2-piece, detailed castings held together with a flathead screw on the left side. Both examples with original painted surfaces and hardware. The photos are probably the best description. Condition : Good to Very Good overall with typical surface wear, finish loss, soiling, etc. The gold-painted version is in exceptional condition, but evaluating and grading antique still banks is well-beyond the scope of my expertise. See photos for complete details and close-ups. Please consider them as part of the description. Each measures approximately 4-1/8L x 3-1/8H overall.
