NOT The Book of Knowledge, but made with them in 1957. The result is this beautiful cast iron mechanical bank just like the original. Vintage all hand painted cast iron Teddy Roosevelt and the Bear mechanical bank LIKE , from the Book of Knowledge series. The Book of Knowledge commissioned the foundry in Cromwell Conn. That originally made this bank to produce it using the same handmade methods and molds they did in the 1907. For some reason the Foundry workers “SCRAPED” off the Book of K imprint, from the sand mold. Probably a test run or made a few for them selves or to sale?
