Rare Boys Stealing Watermelons Cast Iron Mechanical Bank Beautiful Paint, Works
Here for your consideration is a 100% original Boys Stealing Watermelons cast iron mechanical bank. Manufactured in the late 1800’s in Frankford PA by the esteemed Kyser & Rex company this is a truly wonderful example of a rare and desirable black Americana savings bank. There are is no damage and there are no repairs or repaint; the often damaged fence is perfect and it even retains the working trap and key. Just a great bank to add to your collection and one of the nicest examples to surface for some time. Nice action too: the coin rests in the slot in the roof until the lever is pushed down and the coin drops into the little shed as the dog leaps forward and the boys arm moves down. Please ask any questions you might have and I will try to answer promptly. Check out all the photos, they are very high definition. Thank you for looking and best of luck.
