Bowen in 1890 and originally produced by the J. Stevens Company of Cromwell, Connecticut. Measures approximately 8 1/2″L x 5 1/2″D x 8 1/2H and weighs over 6 pounds. There is a coin stopper in the bottom of the bank with writing on it, but I cannot decipher it. If you normally look at the screws used on these banks; the screws are only split once, so you know this is an older vintage reproduction. Cast Iron banks have long been treasured collectibles.
