Genuine antique Monkey with Coconut cast iron mechanical bank. Made by J E Stevens. All original black paint. Not the usual color. Paint is very old crackled and craized with numerous flakes. No evidence of there ever being an earlier under paint. Only to the hands and face is their a cream colored paint, and inside the coconut. Hands are not white on the usual multicolor example with brown body. Measures 8 1/8″ x 4 7/8″ x 3. Bottom is lightly rusted and missing coin trap cover.
