Made by the British company Crabtree these bank of switches date from the 1930’s and would have been used in a factory setting. The casing is cast iron and has a conduit to the top (or bottom) with internal screw fitting to attach further pipework if required. I haven’t over cleaned or stripped the cases as I feel they have a nice natural patina. They would strip or could be painted if required, however if you want a uniform black satin finish use stove black, it works a treat. I also have a matching bank of 9 switches in a separate listing. Marked Crabtree and A15056 to the rear. In good condition commensurate with its age and use.
