This is an authentic antique Humpty Dumpty cast iron bank by Shepard Hardware from the 1880s time period. The bank is in vintage condition with paint that is flaking off but that gives it a great aged look that only comes with time. The overall condition is good. The mechanical components that move the eyes and tongue and lift the hand to the mouth to put in the coin are in working condition. The red paint that remains contrasts nicely with whats left of the white paint. I see that the screw in the back of the hat is not present.
