Antique HUBLEY Cast Iron ELEPHANT HOWDAH Mechanical Bank Painted. This shows well and better in person than photos. Appears to have original paint. Light wear on exterior as seen in photos. Faint corrosion on edges and inside. Interior has 2 replaced screws and 2 replaced springs. The trunk mechanism goes up to put a coin in when the tail is pushed down. The mechanism works, but does come loose and needs to be opened and reset after a few uses. Most likely needs new springs and some adjustment. I adjusted a couple of times and it needs to be reset again. From the looks of other banks, may be missing a small inner piece where the coin goes in.
