Cast Iron Bailey’s CENTENNIAL Money Bank LIBERTY BELL 1875 Wood Base Orig. Label
For Sale: 1875 Cast Iron Still Bank – Centennial Liberty Bell on Wood Base. One side of bell has the text Old Liberty Bell. Above the text is the coin slot. The bell is about 4″ tall and maybe 3.5″ diameter. The bell sits on a wood base that is 4.5″ square at the bottom and 4″ square at the top. The original label on the bottom is still fairly well preserved, however there is some damage to the label with worn away edges and parts of the text gone, as well. There is a bolted screw holding the bell accessible in the center bottom of base. Total bank weight about 1lb-2oz. Ppears to be all original. This is bank #813 in “The Penny Bank Book” by Andy and Susan Moore. It is a slight variation of bank #807. This bank came from the estate of a long-time collector. Please see pictures for condition.
