The base has an English registration mark 24727 (S) which dates it to 1885. This is an early version that features Cherubs, later versions. Didn’t have the Cherubs. The maker was more than likely Chamberlain & Hill. The box comes apart into 5 pieces, see last photo. Hexagon in shape, base measures 10.7cms wide x total height including the finial is 18cms high.
