This cast iron bank is in the shape of a sitting bulldog. This design was made by A C Williams from 1912 to 1928. The bank has its original slotted screw. The screw has been taken out of this bank and shows a little wear around the slot. Also the two halves of the bank were not aligned perfectly when it was put back together. This could be fixed by loosening the screw and realigning the sides but, I feel it is fine as it sits. The paint is original. The dog’s collar is painted red and the dog is gold. The paint has a dark aged gold color. There is some paint loss/wear but overall the patina is attractive. This is a nice collectible bank great for a dog lover or bank collector.
