Circa 1893 Cast Iron John Brown’s Fort Harpers Ferry Building Dime Bank
Circa 1893 Cast Iron John Brown’s Fort. Harpers Ferry Building Dime Bank. An armory building made famous by John Brown’s raid in Harpers Ferry, Virginia, 1859. It is believed to be a bank as small coins pass into the openings, turn sideways and then do not come out. There is rust, but the structure is solid. This would clean up some and I would leave that to the new owner. It is not found in Andy Moore’s Bank Book and is scarce.
