Antique Cast Iron Clown Bank A C Williams
A well-cast cast iron bank of a clown with a red painted finish. The clown is holding a flute. He stands level on a table on his two silver-colored shoes. The bank was covered in red paint with hints of silver on his face and hands. The coin slot is on his back. A slotted screw holds the two pieces together. 6 ¼” (15.9 cm) tall x 2 ¼” (5.7 cm) wide x 1 ¾ (4.4 cm) deep. Weighs 11.7 oz (325 g). There are no breaks, cracks, or dents. There is paint loss throughout from time and use, but there is still much red. The screw is original to the piece.
