Description: This is a nice antique cast iron penny bank in the form of an elephant. The elephant stands on four legs and is painted in a golden color. The elephant has his trunk tucked under its head and resting on his front right leg. The elephant appears to be looking slightly down and to the side with his ears stretched to the side. The piece shows great details and the two pieces, which are held together with the screw, are fitted together very well. This is a first quality piece showing great details and remnants of its original color. The bank has its coin slot on the beast’s back.
