Being offered is this vintage antique cast iron and sheet metal semi mechanical pay telephone coin bank is a rare find for any collector of mechanical banks or vintage telephones. The bank features intricate detailing and is constructed by J&E Stevens, a well-known American brand. It retains the original wood receiver and I think the cord as well. The handle turns and it feels like it is catching a gear or something and moves pretty freely but no bell ding. When looking inside, I definitely see the bell inside a little cage area. I do see a little rust under the 5 and 10 coin drops.
