We offer a rare Minnesota Football Golden Gopher college mascot Banthrico still bank. The bank measures 6″ x 4¼” x 2½. It is embossed on the bottom Banthrico, Inc. And has the name of the bank, First Bloomington National Bank and its address stamped on the back. Made in the 1960s, these banks were commonly distributed across the country to bank branches and given away to customers as thank you gifts for opening a new account. Our “Goldy Gopher” mascot bank is in excellent condition with the exception that the bottom plate has some corrosion and is ever so slightly slightly bent, and the lettering on the bank’s name and location is somewhat worn. This is a rare and fun find to add to your collection of Banthrico banks and/or collegiate memorabilia! Thank you for looking.
