Hard to find/rare 1882 Kyser & Rex Miniature Organ Monkey Cast Iron Mechancial Bank. Measuring: 4″ tall x 3 1/4″ wide x 2 1/4 deep. Bank is in good vintage condition and retains its original, first painted surface. There is wear to the original gilded accents. To operate the bank you place a coin along the left side of the slot and crank the handle, which rotates the monkey around, until he hits the coin with his paddle, pushing it into the slot. There is a clacker that has come detached and is included inside the bank. Please review the pictures, they are the best way for you to judge the condition of the item.
