This 19th Century SECURITY SAFE DEPOSIT cast iron bank is all original – fully signed No 100 with Patent Dates of 1881 and 1887 on the bottom. The door has a gold, possibly brass, decorative center wheel which moves and allows the bank to be open or closed. This wheel bears the lettering “IRON SAFE” and the numbers 1 thru 8.
