This is a very cute little. As you can see in the 6 photos. He fits into your hand, or pocket, that’s how small he is. Shown in the Moore’s Bank Book as M# 696 rated “E”. A very hard old bank to find. No mention was made of the base being separated by the design. That had to be a flaw in the casting but it does leave enough space to let a dime or penny fall out. Not a safe bank to fill with coins, that’s for sure. But it’s not safe to fill your banks with coins anyway. One collector had great banks broken, just because someone broke in and wanted the coins. It’s better to just leave them empty, and enjoy them on a shelf! Size is 2 1/2″ X 2 5/8″ X 1 11/16. Made in the U. But no company is known.
