Offered for sale is a beautiful example of the cast iron Safe Deposit. 1885 by the Henry C. (imprinted into the bottom of the bank). T’s a large and heavy bank, measuring approximately 5 1/4″ high x 4 1/2″ wide x 4 deep. Is in wonderful original condition: though it has some play wear (primarily on the corners and edges) there are. No breaks, cracks or other damage, and it retains 99% of its original gold stenciling and gold trim, and most of its original black paint. Works smoothly, but I’ve not been able to uncover the combination. Hard to find this bank with this ornate stenciling, and even harder to find one in better condition.
