This original and hard to find cast iron dog bank is the Pekingnese. He also makes a great door stop or book end. I have seen these dogs most often attributed to Hubley, although I could not find a mark on this one. The Pekingnese is rare and highly collectible. He stands approximately 5.75″ tall and 8″ long. He’s very heavy for his size, weighing a hefty 6.75 pounds! He has lots of detail and looks great when displayed. Cast iron dog collectors will want this one in their collection. Ten percent of all my sales of dogs is donated to the SPCA.
