It was robbed at gun point once in early 1960s but they caught them. Then they tried robbing it at night 2 or 3 times didnt even have a alarm i was walking to school and found the blasting caps once that they threw away. About 3 rd grade fbi came to see me i told them where i found them. How much more is a thrid grader going to know anyway. My dad and uncle owned 51 percent of bank at that time. Moved bank to wentsville mo in 1960s i dont know the name of the bank now. Id keep it but i have no place to use it and im sad. Only about 20 people left in town now.
