Very Rare Panorama Cast Iron Mechanical Bank, Original Beautiful Paint, Working
This “Panorama” bank is a truly scarce and beautiful architectural mechanical bank; what a wonderful addition for your collection. This bank was produced by J&E Stevens in Cromwell Connecticut and patented on March 7th, 1876. It is a large, impressive building bank with an amazing 24 windows, an elegant gabled roof, two chimneys, steps, and….. This is the desirable light green variation with red and dark brown trim and a bold red roof. The paper litho scenes on the wooden wheel have survived in remarkable condition (I have included three photos of some different pictures on the roller). Charming action: insert a coin in the slot in the roof and the roller advances and changes the picture. Please study all the photos and ask any questions you may have, I will try to answer promptly. There are no cracks in the roof but there are a couple scratches to the paint. The colors are vibrant. Thank you for looking and please check out the other banks I have listed and will continue to list for several weeks.
