This is a very rare “Four Tower Bank” made by J. Stevens in early 1895. This bank was made prior to Stevens Co. Getting their Patent for the bank. On the bottom is stamped : PAT APLD FOR. Bank has never been painted like all the Four Tower Banks you see for sale. The original foundry casting. The other Four Tower Banks you find for sale have stamped on the bottom. Patented July 23, 1895. Found on page 150 of the Bob Pierce Building bank Book, rated a “C” est. If it looks like the picture. This 4 Tower Bank is in excellent condition, no breaks, cracks or repairs. This is the original look, not painted, and has the original twist pin. Check out the other banks for sale.
