Those we matched it to dated it between the early 1900s to 1920s so we went with 1920s to be safe. Like many antique banks, this is made of sturdy cast iron that has stood the test of time. The paint is showing through in places to a previous coat of white paint, which of course, can be restored and/or painted any color you like. (the bottom gives hints of maybe being painted green at one point as well) You can see by looking at the top of the bank that it comes together in two large pieces and then a piece in the front that makes up the steeple. There is also a board bottom. All is held together with screws that are easily removed. A very charming piece that is not far from 100 years old! This still bank measures approx. 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ by 4 1/4. It is worn in places and as mentioned, has wear to the paint, otherwise. Keep scrolling there are 19 pictures and.
