Vintage J & E Stevens Frog on Lattice Base Cast Iron Mechanical Bank Circa 1872. This antique and rare mechanical bank is in great working condition with lots of its original paint! Press his foot and he opens his mouth to receive the coin and swallows it upon release. Designed by Russell Frisbee and patented by J & E Stevens on August 20, 1872. Measures a little under 5″ tall including the frog with a diameter of about 4 1/4″. The base itself is 2 1/2 tall. Please look over pictures carefully and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
