Description : An antique Figural Cast Iron Bank in the form of a Horse, attributed to Arcade or AC Williams, c. This is M#518 Prancing Horse, Made in Canada. I was told by a longtime collector that these were actually made in the US in small numbers for the Canadian souvenir market. A detailed, two-part casting held together with a flathead screw. Embossed on one side: MADE IN / CANADA. Coin slot is located on the Horses back, along the seam. Retains original, gold-painted surface. The photos are probably the best description. Note : Ds are considered Scarce: Most are found in collections; only rarely will another specimen turn up. Condition : Honest wear throughout, including rubs, paint loss, soiling, etc. It has not been cleaned. No cracks or repaired damage noted. Guaranteed old and authentic.
