The bank is titled “Trick Pony” on the front and depicts a showy chestnut horse standing in front of a small trough. A coin is placed in the horse’s mouth. When the lever is depressed, the horse drops the coin into the bank. This is a charming and very collectible original antique mechanical cast iron bank, and would be a fine addition to any collection. To see the bank in action, please click here for the video. Measures 7″ long x 2 1/2″ across, about 8 tall. In overall good antique condition with losses to the original paint surface as pictured. The bank retains its original painted surface and has not been repainted or refinished. We do not have the bank’s key needed to open the coin compartment.
