This is the Artillery cast iron mechanical bank cir. 1892 made by J & E Stevens. Press down on the lever down in the back and the soldiers arm lifts up. Press the other lever and the coin fires into the fort. The bank works well. No damager to the cast iron. It is a nice example of an early American toy. Bottom is cast ” PAT MAY 31 1892 “. Coin door on the bottom. The size is aprox. 6 1/4 ” tall x 8 ” long x 3 3/4 wide.
