This ORIGINAL cast iron safe bank dates to the late 1890’s. With a rarity of F for’LESS THAN 5 KNOWN EXAMPLES. In UPDATE #3 of the IRON SAFE BANKS BOOK published by the Still Bank Collector’s Club in 1991. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs or touch-up to this bank; however, it has been replated. I had it replated several years ago as I thought I would never find another one for my collection. This bank is very hard to find. It displays great & you will not be disappointed.
