This mechanical bank safe was made around 1890. It is in GOOD CONDITION. There is a 3-3/4 crack along the top that runs diagonal from the right side across the opening that displays the fortune. The latch and the backing plate also appear to be replacements. I have had this bank on my shelf for many years and only recently upgraded it. In my opinion, neither of these issues detract from the appeal of this bank. It is hard to find and does not come up that often. Contact me early if you have any questions.
