Pat was issued to James H. Bowen of Philadelphia PA May 20,1890 under the # 428-450. Manufactured by the J&E Stephens Co Cromwell Conn USA. There is missing paint all over the bank, and on the clowns face as shown. There is a lever you push down the clown spins around. Button on the back makes the clown do a hand stand. The bank has the bottom piece that holds the coins in that is a little loose I think it suppose to have a screw, but it is missing. Pat # 328450 on the bottom. Measures 9 inches tall and the base is 4 inches across. Great antique old bank for the collector. Any questions please feel free to ask.
