Antique Cast Iron Keyless Safety Deposit Combination Lock Bank ca1900 Works Well
From a local smoke free house is this antique cast iron savings bank. The bank has the form of a large combination safe. It has a coin slot in the back and is well marked. It is marked on the door “The Keyless Safety Deposit” and on the bottom Mfd by The Keyless Lock Co. USA Patented It measures about 5 7/8 inches high, about 4 3/8 inches wide, and about 3 7/8 inches deep. The bank is in good condition. It was lightly brushed and waxed, otherwise it is just as we found it. There are traces of oxidation, there is some wear on the combination dial, and there is a very tight 1/4 inch line on the door near the lower left rivet. See photos as they are part of the description. Would make a nice addition to any collection. Guaranteed old and as described.
