This all original Cast Iron Mechanical Bank is in excellent condition. There is an embossed date “1896” on the bottom of the bank. The bank works perfectly. You load a penny in the rifle and cock it back then press the foot and the coin shoots into the tower. Make sure you look at all the photos so you can see all the amazing details of this enchanting piece from the nineteenth century. This bank measures approximately 6.0″H x 3.5″W(at base) x 10L(at base) and weighs approximately 1.78 pounds. The Bank has a nice original color patina showing some normal age patina in a few areas adding to the charm of this delightful piece.
