This is an original early bank made around 1902 by the J. It is the battleship “Olympia”. It is in original “attic” found condition. I have not altered anything but dusted it off. I see no inpainting or touch ups at all on this bank. Please look at my pictures carefully there are a few things that are missing. The little black cannons on the deck. It looks like there were originally 4, but now there is only 1. Also some type of pole on top is missing. I’m sure you know better than I if your into these banks. I understand that the aft deck portion removes with a simple combination lock. I have not opened it! It does not feel like any coins are in it, but who knows that else could be in there. When you turn the searchlight on the rear and line up the marks the deck lifts up to reveal a coin compartment. It measures approximately 10 1/4″ long x 5″ wide.
